A Birthday Card for a Sweet Young Lady

As Kat turned 17 this year and is just a hop, skip, and a very short jump away from adulthood, I decided it was time to make her a "grown up" birthday card. As my friends know, this is definitely outside my comfort zone! But I gave it a good shot and here's the result. Kat liked it, and actually, I think it turned out rather nicely! :)

The base is Whisper White cardstock, and the layers are alternating Razzleberry Lemonade DSP and Rich Razzleberry textured cardstock. The "K" is stamped in Rich Razzleberry on Very Vanilla cardstock and punched with the Curly Label Punch. I added a splash of Rich Razzleberry polka dot grosgrain ribbon and a few pieces from the Hodgpodge Hardware Kit in Stylized Vanilla to finish it off.

Here's a side view so you can see the layers:

Peace,
Pia

Pia - This is so pretty! I love how you used the Razzleberry Lemonade papers and combined them with the Rich Razzleberry textured CS. I love the personal touch of the K, too! I'm sure Kat loved it!
